La Jolla Shores
San Diego, California· Southern California Coast
A sandy crescent tucked below the bluffs north of La Jolla Cove, with an underwater canyon just offshore. Conditions are often calmer than the open coast, which is why the beach is a fixture for swimmers, kayakers and divers heading for the ecological reserve.
